Digitalift will move its shareholder Digital Gift programme to two annual qualifying dates from March 31, 2027, while keeping each share tier’s annual award value unchanged. The September 18, 2026 board decision also introduces a six-month continuous-holding requirement.

The annual value stays fixed while each award is halved

Holders of 300-499 shares will receive JPY6,000 at each qualifying date, replacing one annual JPY12,000 award. Those with at least 500 shares will receive JPY12,000 twice yearly, replacing one JPY24,000 award. The new dates are March 31 and September 30; the former programme used September 30 alone.

The data behind the story

Annual Digital Gift value remains unchanged at each share tier

The new annual totals combine the stated March and September awards: JPY6,000 plus JPY6,000, or JPY12,000 plus JPY12,000.

Full-year totals assume eligibility at both dates and the same share tier at each date. Each actual award is determined separately. The new holding condition can affect access even though the scheduled annual face value is unchanged.

Under the new rule, at least 300 shares must appear under the same shareholder number on two consecutive March/September registers. The former programme had no continuous-holding condition. The higher JPY12,000 half-year award depends on holding at least 500 shares at that particular qualifying date; the continuous-holding test itself remains at least 300 shares.

For the transition, recipients of the September 2026 annual benefit can qualify for the first half-year award by maintaining at least 300 shares through March 31, 2027. The company warns that a changed shareholder number, including after a broker change, stock lending, inheritance or a gift transfer, may prevent the holding period from being recognised. These are eligibility conditions, not a forecast of how many shareholders will qualify.

Digitalift plans to mail selection instructions within three months of each qualifying date. Recipients choose a reward online and must finish within the specified selection period. Planned choices include Amazon gift cards, Google Play codes and QUO Card Pay, but the disclosure says the catalogue may change.

The programme uses Digital Gift, operated by Digital Plus subsidiary Digital Fintech. Digital Plus confirmed Digitalift’s adoption in July 2025 and describes a QR-based selection service that does not require a service account. That earlier provider release establishes the operating relationship; the September 2026 company disclosure governs the new award schedule. Neither source reports redemption rates or proves that the change will increase long-term shareholding.
