DoorDash and InComm Payments announced a partnership on November 25, 2024 to bring gift card shopping for hundreds of merchants into the DoorDash app. The companies scheduled the offering to launch on November 29, combining digital purchases with local delivery of physical gift cards.

InComm’s role includes supplying popular gift cards to DashMart locations across the United States. Dashers can collect those physical cards and deliver them to customers, while DoorDash also supports orders from participating local merchants.

Gift cards inside a local commerce platform

The arrangement connects InComm’s gift card distribution network with DoorDash’s shopping and fulfillment channels. InComm vice president of global business development Jaime Yeager described the collaboration as creating a gift card mall within the app, with a broad merchant selection ahead of the holiday season.

DoorDash director of new verticals Emma Stockdale linked the service to last-minute gifting and DashMart’s ability to fulfill urgent purchases. The companies presented the partnership as an expansion of gift shopping through DoorDash, with DashMart handling physical stock as well as its wider fulfillment role.

Launch-period digital gift card offers

The announcement included temporary U.S. promotions on selected digital gift cards purchased through the app or website. DashPass members were offered a 10% discount from November 29 through December 5, 2024, with a limit of 10 purchases per person.

For December 6–20, the offer changed to a limit of two purchases per person, with a 10% discount for DashPass members and 5% for other eligible users. The maximum discount was $20 per purchase, and the terms covered digital DoorDash cards and selected third-party digital cards.

Those dated offers accompanied the launch of the shopping experience. The distribution agreement itself gave InComm another consumer-facing channel for its merchant gift card range and brought physical gift card inventory into DoorDash’s local delivery operation.
