Holiday rewards can be designed around more than the transaction taking place at checkout. In a playbook published on December 18, 2025, Elite Rewards sets out campaign ideas that combine anticipation, charitable participation and reasons for customers to return after the seasonal rush.
The proposed mechanics include daily surprise offers in a countdown campaign, an early-shopper bonus and a purchase-linked charitable gift. A January bounce-back reward shifts redemption into the following month, while New Year's resolution campaigns connect an incentive with wellness or personal goals.
