First Corporation will extend its annual QUO card program to holders of at least 100 shares, removing the previous entry requirement of 500 shares held for a year. The Japanese company announced the change on September 15. [S01]

The new ¥1,000 reward covers holders of 100 to 499 shares regardless of tenure. Holders of 500 or more shares who have not yet reached one year of continuous ownership will also receive ¥1,000.

Higher awards for longer-held, larger holdings remain unchanged. At one to three years, the 500, 1,000 and 5,000-share thresholds carry ¥2,000, ¥3,000 and ¥5,000 respectively. At three years or more, those values become ¥3,000, ¥5,000 and ¥10,000.

The revised terms first apply to the November 30, 2026 register, with cards scheduled for mailing in late February 2027. The expansion changes who can receive the card while retaining the existing higher-value tiers.

The physical QUO card is a gift certificate for use at participating retailers in Japan. [S02]
