Intercash has outlined an operating model for businesses launching branded corporate gift card programmes through card issuing as a service. Its August 18, 2026 guide covers employee rewards, customer incentives, partner benefits and controlled payouts.
The company distinguishes the client’s brand and recipient relationship from the infrastructure supplied by programme managers, BIN sponsors and issuing-bank partners. It says appropriately structured sponsorship can provide network access without the client holding direct Visa, Mastercard or Discover membership.
Intercash describes its service as coordinating programme management, BIN sponsorship, identity checks, anti-money-laundering and fraud monitoring, and payment-data security. PrepaidGate provides the business back office, while CardPortal supports the cardholder interface.
The proposed launch sequence starts with the audience, markets, currencies, funding model and distribution rules. It then covers provider responsibilities, administrative permissions, system integration and reconciliation.
Intercash recommends a limited initial rollout, measuring activation, redemption, support requests and payout timing before expansion. The guide presents white-label issuing infrastructure as a way to connect corporate rewards with ongoing card administration.
