Job.com selected NeoCurrency to deliver prepaid rewards to people hired through its recruitment platform, the companies announced on 24 June 2019. The arrangement connected successful placement with a reward after the new employee had spent 90 days in the job. [S01] [S02]

The announcement described a 5% reward for qualifying hires and an employer fee equal to 7% of the candidate's salary. It did not set out the full calculation rules for the reward, so the two percentages alone should not be used to reconstruct the commercial margin or an individual payout. [S02]

NeoCurrency president Geoff Miller positioned the partnership as an extension of digital rewards into recruitment. The announcement also named Illan Bitton, Job.com's then vice president of partnerships, and Arran Stewart, then its director and chief visionary officer, as spokespeople for the programme. [S02]

A reward tied to a completed employment milestone

The design put the incentive after the start of employment. That matters for the participant experience: the recruitment platform had to carry a candidate from placement through the qualifying period and then into reward delivery. Clear eligibility, timing and balance access would be central to making that process understandable.

For the rewards provider, the project extended its responsibilities beyond sending a code. Account presentation, support and transaction access formed part of the promised service. For the recruitment platform, using a prepaid card offered a defined way to deliver the reward once the employment condition was met.

The launch announcement supplied no results on candidate retention, reward take-up or employer acquisition. It documents the programme's intended design in 2019, rather than demonstrating its subsequent performance or confirming that those terms remain available.
