Mastercard added Portugal to Priceless.com on July 1, 2026, extending its cardholder experiences platform to local residents and international visitors. The company said the wider Priceless offering covered more than 35 destinations at the time.
The Portuguese selection spans travel, dining, music, entertainment, art and culture, with offers in Lisbon, Porto and other locations. Access and benefits depend on the individual experience listed on the platform.
Examples included Sunday-morning admission to Lisbon's Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea, an evening guided visit and a Pastéis de Belém tasting that included an accompanying gift. Other cultural experiences offered benefits such as designated access areas or gifts where specified.

Mastercard Portugal country manager Paulo Raposo linked the launch to cardholders' interest in experiences. The company cited its Experience Economy 2026 study, in which 41% of Portuguese respondents planned to increase spending on travel, dining and outdoor activities. That figure described survey intentions rather than bookings through Priceless.
