Meito will add QUO gift cards to its shareholder benefits in 2027, introducing both an annual award for longer-term holders and a one-time card distribution alongside its existing product parcels. The company announced the changes on September 24. [S01]
The recurring benefit will provide ¥3,000 in QUO cards to holders of at least 2,000 shares who meet a two-year continuous-holding requirement. It uses the March 31 register, with delivery planned for early June. Holders already meeting the criteria in March 2027 will qualify for that first distribution.
The share thresholds reflect Meito's two-for-one stock split taking effect on January 1, 2027. The 2,000-share threshold therefore corresponds to 1,000 shares before the split.
For a separate, one-time benefit on March 31, 2027, holders of at least 400 post-split shares will receive ¥1,000 in QUO cards in addition to the usual ¥3,000 product assortment. That threshold corresponds to 200 shares before the split. Distribution is also scheduled for early June.
