Minamioguni Town has announced a resident shopping-voucher issue that provides ¥12,000 of local spending value for a ¥10,000 cash purchase. The September 26 notice set an October 1 sales opening and a February 28, 2027 deadline for purchase and use, subject to the supply lasting. [S01]

Each set contains ¥1,000 vouchers, and a household may buy up to five sets. At the maximum, ¥50,000 purchases ¥60,000 in vouchers. Sales take place at the Minamioguni commerce association counter on weekdays, with eligibility based on the town’s resident register. The head of household buys the vouchers, although an authorised proxy may act with a letter of delegation. [S01]

A broad local merchant list

The town’s linked participating-business list, dated September 25, includes restaurants, retailers, accommodation businesses, construction firms, manufacturers and service providers across the Akababa, Manganji and Nakabaru districts. It names individual outlets, including a FamilyMart store, a Drugstore Mori branch and Komeri Hard & Green Minamioguni. Their presence establishes local participation, not acceptance across those chains nationally. [S02]

The Akababa portion alone contains 63 named entries across seven publisher-defined categories. Counting that district’s rows shows the variety behind the acceptance list; the other two districts are outside this tally, and the figures do not measure voucher spending. [S02]

The merchant document repeats the October 1 to February 28 validity period and directs purchasers to the conditions printed on the back of their vouchers. Neither the announcement nor the list establishes a cash-change or refund entitlement. [S01] [S02]

The commercial mechanism is a purchase with a premium: households contribute cash in advance and receive a larger amount that can be used within the participating network. The household cap limits the additional value available to each buyer, while the merchant list determines where that value can circulate.

The resident eligibility rule makes this a household spending programme. Its purchase limit and participating network define the offer independently of any tourism voucher issued in the same area. [S01]
