Diggecard has highlighted National Trust experiences and conservation work in a guide for business gift card buyers. Published May 31, 2022 after a session with the charity’s team, the article describes a range of places beyond the historic houses most often associated with the Trust.

Its examples include 20 Forthlin Road in Liverpool, the childhood home of Paul and Mike McCartney, alongside gardens, coastlines, mills and other sites. The guide also discusses plant conservation, habitat restoration and outdoor activities.

The article describes urban green-space projects, including plans at the time to turn Manchester’s 330-metre Castlefield Viaduct into a temporary elevated park. It also notes work intended to connect urban areas with nearby countryside.

Gift card uses in the offering described included membership, shops, cafés and eligible holiday accommodation. Diggecard presented those options as a way for recipients to choose among different forms of leisure and recreation.

Diggecard said its partnership with the National Trust began in 2015, following two years spent helping prepare the program. Business delivery options included physical and digital cards, bulk orders, API distribution and a personalized service.
