Navan Town Centre has renewed its gift-card agreement with Clearhill and will add a new automated sales kiosk under the supplier’s rental model. Clearhill announced the renewal on October 1, extending a programme introduced at the County Meath shopping centre in 2019. [S01]
The supplier reports more than €2.18 million in gift-card sales and over 36,000 cards sold across the partnership. Those are cumulative figures since launch. The announcement gives no annual breakdown or corresponding redemption total, so the sales value cannot establish how much cardholders have already spent with retailers. [S01]
A sales point with a second role
The new kiosk will allow customers to select and purchase cards without staff assistance. Its display also gives the centre space to promote retailers, campaigns and events. Clearhill describes the renewed agreement as long term but does not disclose its duration, rental price or installation date. [S01]
For the centre, these are two distinct uses of the same location: completing a prepaid purchase and communicating with passing shoppers. The arrangement makes the kiosk part of both gift-card distribution and the centre’s advertising space. No forecast for either activity accompanies the renewal.
Navan was the first shopping centre to introduce a Clearhill gift-card programme. It is managed by Aramark Property and has more than 70 retail units. Clearhill supplies shopping-centre entertainment, gifting and wellness services through its FunHub, Fun Gifting and Fun Wellness brands. [S01]
Clearhill’s wider kiosk offering includes a reporting dashboard and links to its online gift-card shop. The Navan announcement specifically confirms the new kiosk and continued managed support; it does not identify every product feature selected for this installation. [S02]
The centre’s current online storefront also documents a route into the physical kiosk. Its default, unsubmitted order displays a EUR50 gift card plus a EUR0.50 SMS or email code-delivery fee, totalling EUR50.50. The recipient exchanges the code for a physical card at the centre. This October 18 observation describes consumer distribution terms; it does not reveal the new kiosk’s rental charge or confirm installation. [S03]
