Rollickin has introduced emailed gift cards and product-specific Treat Cards for its three Christchurch cafés. The New Zealand operator announced the new digital channel on September 10.

The monetary e-gift cards allow the purchaser to choose a value and design and include a personal message. The announcement says delivery is directly to the recipient's inbox.

Treat Cards represent specified products instead of a selected cash amount. The disclosed range covers single, double or triple gelato scoops, a hot dessert, a two-dessert gift and a four-double-scoop family option.

The retailer-linked storefront, checked on October 18, displays purchase prices of NZD 9.50, NZD 12.50 and NZD 14.50 for the single-, double- and triple-scoop Treat Cards. Their descriptions separately state values of NZD 8.50, NZD 11.50 and NZD 13.50. The pages do not explain that difference, so it should not be interpreted as a verified fee or an extra cash balance. The chart compares the displayed purchase prices of the three product-specific vouchers; Rollickin's retail terms identify the currency as New Zealand dollars and prices as GST-inclusive. [S03][S04]

Purchase prices for different scoop products, not per-scoop prices or unrestricted gift balances. Product descriptions separately state NZD 8.50, 11.50 and 13.50; the unexplained difference is not treated as a confirmed fee. No September launch price or sales inference.

The operator identifies New Regent Street, Cashel Street and Riccarton as the accepting locations. That is a defined local redemption network, rather than evidence of distribution at other retailers.

Rollickin already sold physical gift cards before this announcement, including in its 2022 reporting. The new event is the emailed distribution channel and the defined-product options, rather than the first creation of the brand's gift programme.

The announcement does not disclose sales, redemption results or customer adoption. Current product descriptions corroborate the available formats without establishing independently measured delivery or performance.
