SportsHero has signed Giftery.Pro as a voucher supplier for its HeroPlay Global Store, adding access to more than 5,000 digital products from over 100 retail and brand partners. The agreement expands the Southeast Asia-focused gaming company’s planned catalogue across gaming, entertainment and everyday services. [S01]
The issuer announcement, dated September 24, says the range includes vouchers associated with Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Riot Games and Google Play, alongside products from Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, Uber and Vodafone. Those are examples from the supplier catalogue; the filing does not promise that every product will be available in every market. [S01]
One integration, commissions on completed sales
Giftery.Pro is to connect through a single application programming interface, allowing HeroPlay to access brands without negotiating and building a separate integration for each one. SportsHero expects to earn a margin on each voucher sold, with the amount varying by product and brand. The agreement has no minimum spending requirement or recurring cost for either party. [S01]
Giftery.Pro is operated by Dubai-based Prepaid Solutions FZCO. Its business-to-business platform distributes digital gift cards through a web portal and API, with instant digital voucher delivery. The announcement identifies customer rewards, loyalty programmes, promotions and incentives as uses of the platform. [S01]
For SportsHero, the agreement adds a transaction-based revenue opportunity alongside gaming subscriptions. Chief executive Tom Lapping said the company intends to use its existing telecommunications distribution in Southeast Asia to reach users with the additional products. The company also expects the range to broaden prize and reward choices for HeroPlay tournaments and partner campaigns, including its City Battle competitions. [S01]
Catalogue breadth is the commercial opportunity
The company’s supplier strategy combines different brand ranges, denominations and geographic availability. This can widen the selection offered through one storefront while avoiding a separate commercial relationship with every brand. SportsHero says the structure limits inventory exposure and significant upfront expenditure. These are the company’s intended operating benefits. [S01]
The filing announces an agreement and planned API integration. It gives no integration completion date, sales forecast or evidence of revenue already generated by Giftery.Pro products. The commercial result will therefore depend on product availability, completed purchases and the margins on the products users choose. [S01]
