Zendit published guidance on connecting its API to websites and applications on March 28, 2024. The services described included digital gift cards, mobile top-ups, data bundles, prepaid utilities and eSIMs.

The company said account registration provided access to a dashboard for wallet balances, product information and sales reporting. Its guide described a catalogue of more than 15,000 products across its broader service offering, with coverage in more than 170 countries at the time.

Catalogue information included country, region, brand, product benefits, costs and foreign exchange rates. The totals applied to Zendit’s overall product range, rather than 15,000 gift card brands or gift card availability in every listed country.

Wallet and transaction information formed another part of the workflow. Zendit said users could review balances and payment history and use sales reports to assess demand across products and markets.

After integration, the guide suggested using transaction data and customer feedback to refine the services presented in an application. It explained access to existing platform capabilities rather than announcing a new API or a completed customer deployment.
