A different calculation for each business

A premium tier brings together benefits with different kinds of value. Cashback is expressed as a rate on eligible spending, a welcome award depends on a threshold and time window, and travel benefits depend on whether a business owner actually uses them.

That means the annual fee cannot be evaluated from a headline list alone. A business comparing reward choices needs to consider its own spending, planned travel and preferred redemption options, alongside the terms governing each benefit.

The release did not provide an observed return for Pro customers or establish that every business would recover the fee. Its significance is the expansion of a business-card platform into a paid benefits tier, with gift cards remaining one possible use of earned rewards.
