Giftbit reported a 99% customer satisfaction score for 2024 in an announcement dated January 6, 2025. The digital rewards provider credited Andrew Flaro and his team for the result. [S01]
A service measure, with limited methodology
The short announcement described the figure as a CSAT customer approval score. It did not disclose the number of responses, response rate, survey wording or which customer interactions were eligible for feedback. [S01]
That matters when comparing service scores. A percentage collected after support conversations answers a different question from a survey of an entire customer base. Without the denominator and collection method, the published result cannot support a claim that 99% of all customers were satisfied, or establish a ranking against another provider.
Why support belongs in the reward conversation
For a reward programme, sending value and resolving a recipient’s problem are separate responsibilities. A successful delivery record does not settle every question about access, instructions or the next step. Service feedback can reveal how that final experience feels to the person trying to use the reward.
The useful reading of Giftbit’s announcement is therefore specific: the company reported a high satisfaction result for its 2024 service activity. Further methodology would be needed to assess its coverage, statistical precision or comparability with other providers. The figure is not a redemption rate, a measure of programme returns or a guarantee about future service.
