Giftee says its giftee for Business service has handled more than 86,000 cumulative projects, according to a September 18 disclosure that also reports newer milestones in automotive and corporate gifting.

The overall threshold is measured as of June 30, rather than the announcement date. The company separately reports approximately 1,000 automotive projects and at least 11,000 Corporate Gift projects as of the end of August.

These are project counts reported by the provider. They do not identify the number of gift cards issued, unique recipients, customer organizations or prepaid face value distributed, and the overall and sector totals should not be added together.

Digital gifts serve several commercial relationships

Giftee's business service supplies gifts for corporate campaigns, employee programs, business relationships and municipal resident initiatives. Its giftee Box product lets recipients exchange gift points for selected items, including convenience-store products and cafe tickets. Eraberu Pay lets them choose among participating mobile-payment service points.

Those mechanisms offer a recipient a choice after an organization funds the gift. A project can therefore represent a distribution program rather than a single card or a single recipient.

In automotive retail, Giftee attributes demand to maintaining customer relationships between vehicle purchases and reducing the ordering, storage and delivery tasks associated with physical gifts. The September report's approximately 1,000-project sector count is an end-August measurement; the client examples it cites are earlier implementations, not new September launches.

These are lower thresholds, not exact project totals. They do not establish exactly 5,000 added projects or an exact growth rate. Projects are not gift-card counts, recipients, customer organisations or redeemed value.

Corporate Gift covers more than gift cards

The Corporate Gift total has a wider product scope. The service includes digital gifts, physical merchandise, experiences and branded goods used for customer and employee relationships. Its at least 11,000 projects should consequently not be described as gift-card-only activity.

A June disclosure had referred to at least 10,000 Corporate Gift projects as of the end of May, while a September 16 release still cited the earlier 81,000 overall-project threshold. Those rounded milestones are not exact starting values for calculating a growth percentage.

Japanese wording means at least, not strictly more than. Physical goods, experiences and branded items are included. Rounded thresholds cannot establish an exact increase, and these totals must not be added to the overall service count.

The company had already released its second-quarter earnings on August 14. The September 18 news is the additional cumulative and sector disclosure, with each measurement date retained. The announcement does not establish an independently audited return on investment or the value of cards subsequently redeemed.
