AQ Links announced on September 25, 2026 that a redesigned tourism e-gift service, tabicore GIFT, was scheduled for October 13. Its planned changes covered browser-based voucher use, standard support for inbound visitors and a refreshed administrator dashboard. [1]

The supplier describes experience since 2020 with airlines, travel companies and the facility categories below. These approximate figures concern the earlier service, rather than customer acquisition caused by the October upgrade. [1]

The announcement says recipients could open a supplied URL without installing the dedicated app. It identifies individual travel packages and promotions as uses for inbound support, without specifying languages. The dashboard would show use by area and ticket type. Improved redemption, easier analysis and reduced support workload are stated aims, without measured results. [1]

The public recipient page inspected on October 19 describes receiving a gift by email or SMS URL, selecting a participating venue and scanning its code. It displays Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean language choices. That current interface observation is separate from the September announcement and does not independently establish the precise release date. Expiry and eligible venues depend on the received coupon; screenshots are invalid, and the optional saved-venue account is distinct from the URL delivery flow. [2]

A documented earlier use case is ANA’s 2026 Niigata campaign. AQ Links identifies its electronic-ticket role; ANA’s own terms offer the first 500 eligible registered travellers ¥2,000, issued as two ¥1,000 coupons, for qualifying return flights during July 17–October 24. Eligibility, booking and registration restrictions apply, and the campaign closes when its allocation is reached. These are campaign terms, not a redemption total or a result of the October upgrade.
