Aspe has set 19–25 October as the registration window for residents and merchants joining its 2026 Bonos Comercio programme. The Spanish municipality announced the process on 16 October, moving its EUR427,429 local shopping voucher campaign towards allocation and redemption. Downloads will follow registration on dates still to be announced. [S01] [S02]

The new development is the operating timetable, rather than a fresh funding award. Aspe had announced the same provincial and municipal contributions in July, when it described an intended October campaign. The later provincial award also records the allocation. [S03] [S04]

How the funding will reach participating shops

The town hall contributes EUR101,000 and the Diputación de Alicante EUR326,429. The province’s published award independently confirms its contribution and the EUR427,429 programme total. These figures measure public funding available for the scheme; they do not show money already spent in shops. [S01] [S04]

Radio Aspe’s report of the municipal presentation describes downloadable Buy Bono vouchers covering half of an eligible purchase, with shoppers paying the other half. It says the amount allocated to each person will depend on final applications. That checkout arrangement does not establish an upfront voucher purchase price, and the detailed current municipal terms were not available in the documents reviewed. [S05]

The same report describes a two-step merchant process: businesses apply through the municipal register or electronic office, then receive a case number for registration in the campaign application. Officials said a month of use is planned, but its start remained unsettled. For participating merchants, accepting applications and being ready to redeem vouchers are therefore separate stages. [S05]

Commerce councillor Toñi García presented the scheme as support for household budgets and local businesses. The official notice restricts resident participation by registration and age, excludes people who requested but did not use the previous campaign’s vouchers, and provides assisted registration for residents over 70. ADL technician Dolo Valdés described the digital registration route. The number of awards, final individual entitlement and actual redemption remain unreported. [S01]
