Baunatal’s local gift-voucher network added the AEM Telekom partner shop in the city centre in a September 7 announcement. The operator’s October 19 directory still identifies that shop as an acceptance point within a network of 48 listed entries. [S1] [S2] [S4]
A telecom shop joins a network led by shopping outlets
The complete acceptance directory contains 30 entries labelled shopping, ten labelled food and hospitality, and eight labelled services. These are the operator’s categories, counted across its named records. AEM appears under shopping. Several businesses have separate branch entries, so the total describes listed acceptance locations rather than unique company owners. [S2]

The AEM outlet is at An der Stadthalle 6. Its opening in April 2026 and its September addition to voucher acceptance are separate events. The operator’s dedicated entry confirms that this shop accepts the city voucher; AEM’s own site corroborates the Baunatal address among its eight locations. That company-wide location list does not establish voucher acceptance at every AEM branch or tell customers that telecom bills can be paid with the voucher. [S1] [S4] [S7]
Stadtmarketing Baunatal GmbH issues the locally restricted voucher. It can be purchased through the online shop or local sales points and redeemed for goods and services in the participating network. The consumer terms permit partial redemption across different participants and specify that each load remains valid for three years after its year of issue. A recipient checks the balance using the voucher number or QR code and PIN. Acceptance at a particular business is not guaranteed to continue throughout that period. [S3] [S5]
The payment rules distinguish a partial redemption from paying a purchase that costs more than the remaining balance. In the latter case, the terms allow the merchant to decline split payment and require another single payment method for the full purchase. They also prohibit spending the voucher on other network vouchers or e-money products. Consumers are not charged a merchant surcharge for redemption; any applicable online handling or delivery charge must be shown when buying. [S5]
For merchants, the operator describes no joining fee or fixed recurring charge, but a redemption fee whose amount is contained in the partner agreement. A smartphone, tablet or existing computer can process acceptance. The public page does not disclose the percentage, and its claim of extra local sales is a programme proposition rather than a measured result for AEM. [S6]
The online catalogue also needs care when interpreting face values: its EUR 20 PDF product has a EUR 20 title and price but a description saying it is loaded with EUR 10. The reviewed page does not resolve that conflict, so neither figure is used here as a verified loaded balance for that product. The network chart uses the acceptance directory instead. No source reviewed reports AEM-specific voucher sales, redemption or transaction counts. [S8]
