The Municipality of Bernheze and ONS welzijn have opened the 2026 application round for their annual caregiver appreciation benefit, offering EUR50 in VVV vouchers or local hospitality vouchers. Applications run October 1 through December 31, according to the original October 1 notice and current programme page. [S01] [S02]

Annual award caps govern the EUR50 distribution

The announcement describes a EUR50 award. Its linked FAQ specifies two EUR25 gift vouchers, which the person receiving care may give to one caregiver or divide between two caregivers. [S01] [S03]

The person receiving care makes the application and must live in Bernheze; the caregiver may live elsewhere. One appreciation award can be requested per care recipient, with a maximum of two awards per address. A caregiver may receive no more than one annual award even when supporting several people. The data behind the story

Bernheze’s annual caregiver-appreciation award caps

Three simultaneous programme limits govern applications and receipt. A shared address can have up to two awards, but an individual caregiver remains limited to one.

These are directly stated eligibility caps, not applicant, recipient or voucher counts observed in 2026. One award is EUR50 and contains two EUR25 vouchers; the address cap does not let one caregiver receive two awards.

The programme page explicitly says applications are available only between October 1 and December 31, 2026 and that the form is removed afterward. Previous receipt does not provide automatic entitlement in a later year; a fresh annual application is required. [S02] [S03]

Approved awards are scheduled for delivery between November 2026 and the end of January 2027. The sources establish the current application and planned distribution cycle, without announcing a new programme, increased voucher value or new payment technology. [S01] [S03]

No aggregate budget, approved-recipient count or completed issuance total is supplied. The reviewed documents also do not establish the vouchers’ technical format, spending-balance features or expiry and refund rules. [S01] [S02] [S03]
