Burriana has approved a new municipal commerce-voucher cycle that will let adult residents buy EUR20, EUR50, EUR100 and EUR200 of spending value for half their face value. Purchases and redemption are scheduled for October 15-24, with municipal support limited to EUR100 per person. [S01]
The Ayuntamiento de Burriana announced the 2026 programme on October 8. Confecomerç-CV, the regional federation of commerce, services and self-employed businesses, will manage the campaign as a collaborating entity. Funding comes from the municipal budget; the announcement does not disclose the total allocation. [S01]
A voucher consumed in one transaction
The scheme issues prepaid spending instruments tied to an eligible resident. At checkout, the buyer presents the voucher's identifier and identity document, or a named authorisation. Each voucher must be spent for its full amount in one purchase, and only one voucher can be used per transaction. [S01]
That rule shapes the acceptance model. A EUR200 voucher, for example, represents a EUR100 resident payment and EUR100 municipal contribution, but it cannot be divided into balances for several shopping trips. The face-value choice therefore determines the value committed to a single eligible purchase.
The official purchase schedule below shows the resident's outlay for each face-value choice. The municipality supplies the same amount again. These are genuine denomination terms; they do not describe the mix of vouchers bought or completed baskets. [S01] [S02]
