LEGO Retail's B2B eGift card programme reached 30 countries after an initial three-market launch in the third quarter of 2023, according to a Diggecard case study published on September 24, 2024. Diggecard manages the programme's gift card sales and fulfilment as a white-label partner.
Diggecard says the UK, Denmark and Germany went live within two weeks. Following that initial launch, the companies brought 27 additional markets forward into the fourth quarter of 2023. More than 45 aggregator and agency customers had been onboarded by year-end, and Diggecard reported revenue at 12 times the programme's initial 2023 forecast.
The company reported a 200% increase in clients buying LEGO eGift cards during the first six months of 2024, with sales in all 30 countries and the UK and Germany the strongest territories. It attributes that growth to the LEGO brand and its relationships with gift card buyers.
