TGJones selected Diggecard to develop its B2B gift card distribution and online purchasing capabilities in an announcement dated January 15, 2026. The partnership covers the UK retailer formed from WHSmith's former high-street and online businesses.

Diggecard said it would introduce the TGJones gift card to corporate buyers using rewards, incentives, employee benefits and promotions. The B2B program was planned to start with digital gift cards, with physical cards to follow a few months later.

TGJones also planned to integrate Diggecard's platform for consumer purchases of physical and digital gift cards online. The announced features included personalization and scheduled delivery for digital cards.

The retailer would be able to manage seasonal designs and open-value denominations internally through the platform. Those functions concern the operation and presentation of the gift card program rather than a new payment network or bank-issued card.

The announcement described TGJones as having more than 450 stores and 180 Post Office counters, selling books, stationery, toys, newspapers and other items. Those figures refer to the retailer at the time of the January 2026 release.

Diggecard positioned the partnership alongside its other merchant programs, including LEGO, TK Maxx, The Body Shop and River Island. The TGJones announcement set out planned distribution and ecommerce capabilities without reporting completed program sales.
