The programme’s mechanism matters when interpreting these amounts. The bank’s current product page describes a Community Card as spending directly from the holder’s checking account, with purchases over $5 generating a donation to the selected school. The recap reports the school distributions without supplying the underlying card-spend total or a common donation percentage. The bank also reported $148,439.56 in personal contributions from employees and retirees to the Sioux Empire United Way campaign. Its dollar-for-dollar match brought the combined contribution to $296,879.12. [1]
The volunteering recap included several forms of holiday support. Eight employees worked at the Children’s Home Society Gift Wrap Booth in December, while 22 volunteered with Sioux Falls Cares to deliver donated items to families before Christmas. A February team packed frozen food for 950 families; summer interns packed food boxes for 450 families as well as other items; and an August team packed boxes for 400 families.
