Freshness Burger began selling digital meal gift tickets in Japan on October 21, using giftee’s eGift System to issue the vouchers. The launch gives the burger-café chain a digital gift product for personal gifting and corporate incentives, with three fixed face values and redemption at staffed registers. [S1] [S2]

The tickets are available in ¥600, ¥800 and ¥1,200 denominations. Freshness, the chain’s operator, lists giftee, giftee for Business, LINE Gift and Yahoo! Shopping among the sales channels. Giftee says its business service can distribute the tickets for uses such as survey rewards, customer incentives, employee gifts and municipal programs. Those are available use cases, with no customer or campaign volumes disclosed. [S1] [S2]
