Granadilla de Abona has opened merchant registration for a third local voucher campaign in which shoppers pay EUR10 for EUR20 of spending value. The council announced the new enrolment window on October 9, ahead of consumer sales scheduled for October 19 at noon. [S01]

The Ayuntamiento de Granadilla de Abona funds half of each voucher, with purchases limited to ten per person. Each participating establishment can redeem up to EUR5,000, creating a capped acceptance network rather than an unrestricted payment product. [S01]

Funding a balance that merchants redeem against sales evidence

The consumer terms separate the EUR10 customer payment from the EUR10 municipal subsidy. Together they create EUR20 of spending value, which FAUCA administers through the programme’s digital voucher system. That funding split applies before any merchant has earned reimbursement. [S02]
