Hames-Boucres CCAS has opened its annual application cycle for food cards and disability gift cards, with forms due on October 23, 2026, at 17:00. The municipality announced the arrangements on September 29 and plans distribution for December 23, from 14:00 to 17:00 at the village hall. [S01] [S02]
Equal card values, different eligibility rules
The official application form sets the face value at EUR 45 for each of two distinct assistance routes. The equality of the amounts does not make their eligibility or permitted use interchangeable, and the form does not establish a right to combine them. [S02]

Separate eligibility routes with the same nominal value. No combined EUR 90 entitlement is established. The food-card route is limited to one per household. The separate senior-couple gift card has no published value in its form and is excluded.

The food card is for residents aged 70 or older who are not liable for income tax, and for widowed residents of any age who live alone and are not liable for income tax. Only one food card is offered per household, with proof of non-taxability required. [S02]
The separate gift card is for recipients of the AAH adult-disability allowance or the AEEH disabled-child education allowance who also hold an invalidity card showing an incapacity rate of at least 80%. Applicants must provide the allowance-payment certificate and a copy of the invalidity card. These are the municipality’s published conditions, rather than an estimate of how many people qualify. [S02]
The senior Christmas arrangement is separate. Residents aged 65 or older living as a couple at the same address receive a parcel for one person and a gift card for the other; people living alone receive a parcel. Its form does not state the card’s value, so it cannot be assumed to be another EUR 45 award. [S03]
The monetary-card form says late applications cannot be accommodated because the cards must be ordered. It describes annual assistance and publishes no new provider, increased benefit, overall budget, recipient total or acceptance network. December’s handout remains a planned distribution, with no completed issuance or spending result reported. [S01] [S02]
