Kadena Town Society of Commerce and Industry has announced two autumn and winter voucher issues with different premiums: 20% for regular Nokuni Sokan shopping vouchers and 30% for a separate dining-support voucher. The original issuer notice is dated October 6. [S01]

Published face values, not sales or redemption outcomes. Retail provides a 20% premium and dining support 30% relative to the buyer’s JPY5,000 outlay. Dining vouchers have their own merchant network and purchase ceiling; neither programme’s acceptance or limits should be applied to the other.

The programmes also have different acceptance conditions. Dining-support vouchers work at registered dining-support merchants, while regular Nokuni Sokan vouchers remain usable at participating restaurants as well as other registered local shops. A larger dining premium does not make that voucher interchangeable across the full retail network. [S01]

Regular retail vouchers have neighbourhood-association advance sales October 14-16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by chamber-counter sales from October 19. Buyers who purchased through an association cannot buy the retail issue again at the chamber. Association membership is not required for the advance sale. [S01]

Dining-support sales begin at the chamber counter October 19. The issuer expressly warns that maximum purchase amounts differ between the two programmes, so the retail cap should not be applied to dining vouchers.

For retail vouchers, the individual purchase allowance is JPY20,000. A buyer handling proxy purchases can transact up to JPY40,000 including those proxy purchases; this is not a universal two-person household rule. [S01]

Both voucher samples show a validity period of October 14, 2026-February 28, 2027, although actual availability depends on the relevant sales route. The published samples have JPY500 face values.

The chamber says the issues aim to encourage local spending. It discloses no total allocation or realised merchant-sales effect. A later reminder is a sales update to these issues, rather than the original announcement of new programmes.
