Levi's has expanded UK gift-card acceptance so cards bought and distributed from September 10 can be redeemed both in stores and online, regardless of which of those channels sold them. [S01] [S02]

The retailer sets out the effective date in two official support articles. The change creates a broader redemption route for newly issued gift value, while preserving the original channel restrictions on cards issued before that date. [S01] [S02]

Older cards remain valid until their full balance is used, Levi's says. A card issued in a store before September 10 remains usable at its place of purchase; a card issued online before the change remains usable online. The expanded acceptance therefore does not retrospectively make every outstanding balance portable. [S01] [S02]

New cards cross the retailer's UK channels

The current online selector lists £25, £50, £75, £100, £125, £150, £200 and £501. The unusually precise final option is reproduced as displayed, rather than silently changed to £500. This is a current product snapshot, not evidence that all eight amounts were introduced on September 10. [S03]

The current acceptance list covers UK Levi's retail stores, UK outlet stores, Levi.com and the Levi's app in the UK. Department stores and non-brand specialty stores are excluded. [S01] [S02]

That boundary matters for a brand sold through several retail formats: a gift card's redemption network follows the disclosed Levi's channels rather than every business stocking its products. [S01] [S02]

The announcement concerns where a card's value can be spent. It does not disclose a new issuing provider, a technology migration or a change in merchant settlement arrangements. Nor do the official terms quantify sales or redemption results following the switch. [S01] [S02]

For buyers and recipients, the operative distinction is the card's issue date. Newly distributed UK cards can move between the retailer's store and online channels, while earlier cards keep the conditions under which they were issued. [S01] [S02]

The broader acceptance network does not remove every checkout restriction. The multiple-card FAQ allows one card per online order, while saying more than one can be used at retail if both were issued after September 10, 2026. The product page also limits purchases to one eGift card per order, separately from merchandise. Cards cannot be reloaded once their balance is exhausted. [S03] [S04] [S05]

Delivery information is inconsistent: the product page promises email within 24 hours, while the buying and delivery FAQs say within 48 hours. Neither supplies measured delivery times. That discrepancy remains explicit rather than being used as a chart of actual fulfilment speed. [S01] [S03] [S06]
