PChome began selling digital App Store cards through InComm Payments in November 2023. In its November 8 announcement, InComm described the arrangement as the first App Store card availability through an ecommerce channel in Taiwan. That first-to-market description is the distributor’s claim; this archive review does not establish a separate market-wide census. [1] [2]
Seven values connect an online purchase with Taiwan Apple credit
The launch listed seven face values from NT$50 to NT$6,000. PChome’s public App Store catalogue still displayed all seven on October 19, 2026, each priced at its stated value. This establishes the listed purchase choices at two dated checkpoints, without showing how many cards were sold or whether a particular account can complete checkout. [1] [3]

PChome’s NT$6,000 product terms describe a digital serial code, with no physical shipment. The code is sent by email and can also be found through the customer’s order enquiry. The retailer lists use for apps, games, music, audiovisual content and iCloud+, with redemption into a Taiwan Apple account. [4]
Apple’s Taiwan card terms, last updated July 16, 2025, identify Apple Distribution International as issuer. They limit the balance to eligible Apple media services and exclude purchases from Apple’s online or retail hardware stores, cash conversion and resale. Unused account credit remains in the account; purchases exceeding it need another successful payment method. Refund restrictions are subject to applicable law. [5]
The retailer also states that Bank SinoPac provides a one-year performance guarantee from purchase, released upon top-up, use or expiry of that guarantee period. This is a statement about the guarantee, not evidence that the card balance expires after one year. The reviewed documents do not support substituting that period for a redemption deadline. [4]
InComm entered Taiwan in 2013 and had worked with local merchants on prepaid distribution and point-of-sale activation. Its South Asia leadership presented PChome as a way to reach an established online customer base. The addition extends that distribution model to a digital retail channel; the announcement and current catalogue provide no Taiwan card revenue, redemption rate, customer count or contractual commission data.
