Portail introduced prepaid subscription gifts on September 16, allowing one person to purchase access to its AI workspace and send another person a redemption code by email. The feature arrived in the operator's v2.0.0 release. [S01]

The giver chooses a subscription plan and a duration of one to 24 months, then makes a single payment. Portail says the recipient does not need an account when the gift is bought and does not have to supply payment-card details to redeem it. The gift does not renew automatically.

Prepaid access separates the paying customer from the subscriber

The purchased code provides a specified period of access to Portail, whose terms identify its provider as Vazulies LLC. It is not described as a cash-denominated balance that can be spent across merchants. [S01] [S02]

Portail calls the code a bearer credential: possession of the code enables redemption before the recipient's account has been identified. Redeeming it activates the selected plan and sets an end date. The operator says the account returns to its free tier when the gifted period finishes. [S01]

The September 28 pricing release explicitly says gift subscriptions now cover Pro, Plus and Ultra. It lists monthly reference prices of $20, $80 and $250 respectively, while existing subscribers retain their own terms. Those are the published rates behind the changed lineup, rather than a completed gift purchase or a verified quotation for a longer duration. [S07]

Publisher-announced monthly rates, not a completed gift purchase, a longer-duration quote or realised sales. The source uses $ without identifying an ISO currency and says older archive entries were reconstructed from release records. An older gift-modal image shows different retired plans; no price-growth series is inferred.

The commercial change separates the paying customer from the service user. Portail can sell subscription access as a gift without requiring the recipient to enter a recurring billing arrangement. That adds a purchasing route; the release supplies no gift-sales figures or evidence of customer uptake.

The September 16 release offered the then-current Standard, Pro, Ultra and Ultra++ plans. A September28 pricing update subsequently changed the lineup for new signups, so those historical labels should not be read as a current gift-price list. [S03]

Later September releases added printable gift-card presentation and a digital PDF layout. They followed the same gifting feature, rather than introducing separate subscription-gift programmes. The reviewed launch does not specify the expiry of an unredeemed code or a gift-specific refund policy.

The current landing page repeats the Pro, Plus and Ultra lineup. An older image attached to the launch record shows different plan labels and amounts, while the later pricing entry describes its Pro rate as unchanged. That prevents a reliable price-growth comparison between the image and the later release. The current refund document also gives inconsistent general descriptions of cancellation and unused-period refunds, without resolving a gift-specific refund rule. The launch’s explicit no-auto-renewal promise is retained for the gift; unused-code expiry and gift-specific refund questions remain open. [S01] [S04] [S05] [S06] [S07]
