Rappi has added a redemption route in Argentina for oh! Gift Cards issued by Gift Card Argentina S.A. The delivery platform's official programme terms identify September 10 as the operational start date; the page's original publication date is not disclosed.

Activation, conversion and app spending have separate clocks

The arrangement converts activated physical or virtual gift-card value into RappiCréditos. Redemption can be partial or complete but must go into a single Rappi account. Credits can pay for available products and services within the app, and cannot be transferred to another person or refunded in cash.

The terms separate the programme's validity periods. Physical cards must be activated within 90 days of purchase. Activated value has a 180-day conversion period, while credited RappiCréditos must be spent within 30 days of being credited. Conversion therefore starts a shorter app-spending deadline rather than preserving the card's remaining period.

The data behind the story

Three contractual windows in the Argentine redemption route

Each period starts at a different stage. The periods must not be added to create a single expiry date.

Physical-card activation, activated-card conversion and credited-app spending are distinct obligations. These are published terms, not measured time to redemption. The app-credit clock is 30 days from crediting.

GCA's current corporate catalogue calls Rappi a new available option and includes it in the oh! Market multi-brand product. GCA handles card issuance, sale and activation; Rappi operates the app-credit purchasing channel.

The programme body describes ongoing availability, while calendar metadata contains a December 31 end date. Neither source supports claiming a fixed termination or a measured transaction volume.

The programme promises continuity for earlier purchases if new sales stop, but its discontinuation clause contains inconsistent cross-references to the expiry clauses. The chart follows the explicit periods in clauses 3, 4 and 5; it does not infer an extension to the 30-day app-credit deadline. [S01]
