Runa has reviewed its gift card activity during 2025, reporting growth in promotional redemptions and outlining new tools for merchants. The December 16 update covers its Runa Shop marketplace, a merchant dashboard and demand from research, fintech and creator platforms.
The company said hundreds of promotional campaigns featured more than 50 merchants and were run by over 65 Runa customers across nine countries. It reported an average 75% redemption increase against baseline activity and an average return of 21 times investment for those promotions.
Runa Shop launched during 2025 as a configurable gift card marketplace that customers could set up without coding. Runa said a customer could brand and launch a marketplace in 24 hours, creating another distribution channel for participating merchants.
The new Merchant Dashboard provides views of redemption trends, individual product performance and regional or partner activity, according to the company. Runa positions the reporting as a way for merchants to assess how their gift cards perform across its network.
The update identifies Ohme, Dynata and Youpay among customers bringing different use cases. Ohme uses rewards connected with EV charging behavior, Dynata provides research participant incentives, and Youpay supports payments and rewards for creators.
Looking toward 2026, Runa said it planned more self-service promotional tools, additional distribution channels and deeper performance reporting. The company presented those as its next development priorities following the year’s launches and network activity.
