Sanoh Industrial has added a QUO Card Pay option to GiftFund, its Japanese group-gifting service. The October 1 announcement introduces an e-Gift package without flowers and two packages that direct additional contributions into e-Gift value once their bouquet thresholds are reached. [S01]
GiftFund lets an organizer share a gift-page link, while participants contribute and submit messages individually. The new A set combines QUO Card Pay with a group message card and a private message card. It extends the service beyond the flower-based gift that Sanoh had previously offered. [S01]
Contribution value and delivery
The current product page prices participation at ¥500 per unit, including shipping and fees. A project needs four units to proceed; the site says contributors are not charged if it does not reach that threshold. For the A set, each unit converts to 350 QUO Card Pay points. The contribution price should therefore not be read as the voucher value. [S02]
The same A-set listing specifies Yu-Pack delivery, with a selectable time slot. It describes the shared messages as printed on a card and the private messages as paper delivered only to the recipient. GiftFund is combining a redeemable digital gift with a physical presentation. [S02]
For the B set, units four through 14 fund a small bouquet and contributions from the 15th unit go toward e-Gift value. The C set uses units four through 28 for a medium bouquet, then adds e-Gift from the 29th. The traditional flower-focused D set remains available. [S01]
Why Sanoh changed the product
Sanoh attributes the change to customer interviews. Some users said that larger participating groups produced bouquets that were difficult to carry or accommodate at home; others wanted gifts beyond flowers. The company presents the new option as a way to accommodate those preferences. [S01]
Sanoh is an automotive-parts manufacturer. In its March 10 introduction to GiftFund, it said the service originated in an employee’s idea and was developed internally. That earlier account described flowers, group messages and individual card payments through a shared online link. The October announcement expands that existing service with QUO Card Pay. [S03]
