Valladolid has announced a fresh allocation of 18,000 shopping vouchers for its autumn local-commerce programme, giving the Spanish city a nominal €180,000 pool of purchase discounts. The municipality presented the new edition of Tu Bono Próximo on October 5, with distribution scheduled from October 7 to November 11. [S01]

The allocation will be released over six weeks. Consumers can request vouchers on Wednesdays from 9 a.m., with a maximum of two €10 vouchers per person across the campaign. Vouchers are tied to the holder's identity document. A single voucher applies to purchases above €30; two can be combined when spending exceeds €70. [S01][S02]

Strict thresholds: a purchase must be above EUR30 or above EUR70, respectively. These are eligibility terms, not observed average spending. They do not imply a fixed effective discount rate or autumn sales results.

The programme uses a short redemption cycle to keep the allocation circulating. Holders have 72 hours to spend a downloaded voucher. If they do not, it becomes available again. This structure connects a capped public subsidy with purchases at participating local shops, rather than offering unrestricted cash or a general payment balance. [S01]

The Ayuntamiento de Valladolid finances the initiative through an agreement with trade groups AVADECO and FECOSVA and the local chamber of commerce. Unicaja Banco participates as the financial-management institution. The city said an August regional grant supported several commerce measures and provided additional funding capacity for the autumn edition; it did not describe the whole grant as this campaign's budget. [S01][S02]

The municipality reported that its spring 2026 campaign generated €809,365 in sales across almost 12,400 purchases. Those are results from the earlier edition. The October announcement sets out a new voucher allocation and does not yet establish autumn redemption or sales outcomes. [S01]
