Valuedesign India is supporting digital gift cards for Meghavi Wellness Spa, linking the Indian spa operator's services to consumer and corporate gifting channels. The implementation covers card issuance through redemption and brings the brand onto Valuedesign's Adivaha Shop marketplace. [S1]

The provider announced the arrangement on August 14, 2026. It said the gifts could be used at 55 Meghavi locations across 15 Indian cities, a footprint that includes hotels, airports and shopping malls. Those figures describe the network at the time of the announcement. [S1] [S2]

From a spa service to a distributed gift card

The commercial change extends beyond putting a voucher on a website. Valuedesign says it handles issuance, activation, digital delivery, redemption processing and reporting for Meghavi's gift cards. Buyers can send the value by SMS or email, while businesses can monitor campaign performance and card usage through the reporting system. [S1]

Adivaha Shop provides a sales channel for individual customers as well as corporate buyers and human resources teams. The announcement identifies employee benefits, staff recognition, customer campaigns and sales-partner incentives among the intended uses. These are routes the companies want to serve, rather than disclosed contracts with named employers. [S1]

For Meghavi, this connects a service delivered in physical locations with buyers who may be purchasing gifts for recipients elsewhere. For a corporate purchaser, issuance and distribution can sit within one provider relationship, while the recipient ultimately uses the value at the spa. That is the practical distinction between extending gift-card distribution and opening additional treatment locations: the announcement establishes the former.

An Indian brand within a larger distribution business

Meghavi Wellness Private Limited operates the spa brand. The release describes a business with more than 400 therapists, 21,000 active members and over 300,000 annual spa sessions. Its services include massages and facials. These are company-supplied operating figures, rather than an independent assessment of market share or treatment outcomes. [S1]

The implementation provider, Valuedesign Services Private Limited, is based in Mumbai. It is an overseas subsidiary of Japan's Valuedesign, which operates within Paycloud Holdings. Its Indian business supplies digital gifts for consumer purchases, business promotions and employee benefits. [S1]

Valuedesign said its Indian catalogue exceeded 800 brands at the end of July 2026 and its distribution network had more than 100,000 distribution points. It also said distribution partners can access the brand catalogue through an API. Those network figures are separate from the 55 Meghavi locations described as accepting the spa gifts. [S1]

What the announcement leaves open

The arrangement gives Valuedesign another experience-based reward to distribute and gives Meghavi access to buyers beyond its own spa counters. Both could benefit from corporate orders that aggregate demand across employees or customers. The release does not disclose contract value, card sales, commissions or any measured increase in visits, so the commercial opportunity cannot yet be treated as a reported result.

Recipients' ability to use the gift still depends on access to a participating spa. The announcement does not provide a denomination schedule, expiry rules or detailed booking and redemption conditions. Digital delivery can make the card easier to send; it does not establish those terms or remove the geographic limits of the underlying service.
