ValueCommerce has added advance online redemption of giftee local digital vouchers to its DYNA IBE hotel booking system, moving an eligible payment step from the front desk to a guest’s existing reservation. [S01]

The October 6 announcement concerns eMachiGift rewards obtained through giftee’s Tabisaki Nozei local donation service. Guests can apply qualifying voucher value before arrival after completing a normal hotel booking.

The reservation comes before voucher application

Under the disclosed process, a guest first completes the reservation, then makes an eligible donation and obtains the local digital voucher. The guest enters the voucher issue number and amount through the booking system’s My Page to apply it to the stay. [S01]

That sequence keeps the donation and reward selection outside the initial reservation process. The new function supplies an advance application route for a reservation that already exists; the company says the previous arrangement handled redemption when guests settled on site.

Participation is narrower than the booking platform

A property must use DYNA IBE, be in a municipality participating in the donation programme, be registered as an eligible local merchant and enable the function. The integration therefore does not establish that every hotel using the booking platform can accept these vouchers. [S01]

The local acceptance condition is central to the product. A donation reward tied to one municipality cannot be assumed to cover a hotel elsewhere, and the announcement does not publish an enabled-property count or redemption volume.

A new payment stage for the existing products

DYNATECH is ValueCommerce’s travel technology brand following its absorption of Dynatech in April 2025. DYNA IBE supplies direct hotel booking technology, while giftee provides the local digital voucher component described in this integration. [S01]

For accommodation operators, the practical change is when eligible value can be applied to a booking. The release provides no measured reduction in check-in work, payment-processing cost or abandoned reservations, so those outcomes cannot yet be assessed.

The official diagram includes an example donation reward. Its percentage should not be read as a universal hotel discount: eligibility and the usable voucher depend on the local programme and participating property.
