Member Access Processing announced Todd Gengenbach as chief information officer on September 4, 2023. The announcement says he began work in July and would lead the payment-processing provider's information technology and security functions.
MAP described Gengenbach as having more than thirty years of experience in IT leadership and consulting. Much of his career had been in financial services, with additional work leading technology teams at retail, medical and agriculture-related companies.
Before joining MAP, he created and led a multinational managed Microsoft 365 and Azure practice at an IT services provider. The announcement does not identify that employer by name.
Gengenbach holds a business administration degree with a computer science minor from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and an MBA focused on technology leadership from Bellevue University. MAP also lists qualifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity and VMware.
Steve Bone, identified in the announcement as MAP's chief executive, connected the appointment with the company's technology and security responsibilities. MAP serves credit unions through the Visa Debit Processing Service platform and offers debit, credit, ATM, mobile, reloadable prepaid and gift card services.
