Member Access Processing promoted Jeff Sims to chief financial officer and Tim Bornemeier to chief implementation officer in a release dated February 1, 2021. The announcement appears on a MAP archive page dated February 16, 2023 and describes both joining its eight-member executive leadership team.

Sims previously served as vice president of finance and corporate systems. His responsibilities include the daily operation of financial and IT systems, internal and external financial reporting, budgets, audits and evaluation of future systems requirements.

MAP said Sims had more than twenty-five years in finance and accounting management, including more than twenty years in financial services. Before MAP, he was chief financial officer at KMS Financial Services and managed its transition from private ownership to a subsidiary of a public company. He studied finance and accounting at Washington State University.

Bornemeier had been MAP's vice president of implementations. His remit includes new client onboarding and implementation projects for existing clients, covering the delivery and support of card-processing programs.

Before joining MAP, Bornemeier managed Premier Bank conversions at Fiserv, including credit and debit card conversions, custom programming and deconversions, and served as its Lincoln, Nebraska site director. Earlier, he spent nearly ten years at Capital One/Cabela's, overseeing credit card operations and a Lincoln site with more than 400 employees. He previously held an operations leadership role at Nelnet for eighteen years.

MAP provides credit unions with access to the Visa Debit Processing Service platform and offers debit, credit, ATM, mobile, reloadable prepaid and gift card services. Chief Executive Cyndie Martini linked the leadership changes with financial management, operational efficiency and delivery for client institutions.
