Reliant expands cash bill payments with InComm VanillaDirect in Texas

Texas electricity provider Reliant has introduced a barcode-based cash payment service with InComm. The company said the agreement doubled its payment network to 10,000 locations, adding more stores where residential customers can settle a bill while shopping.

Customers present a personalized barcode and cash at an authorized checkout. Reliant said payments are processed immediately and credited to the customer’s account within 30 minutes, with the option to pay on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
