Runa compared four approaches to incentive fulfilment in March 2023: bulk distribution, personalized delivery, API integration and a self-service reward marketplace. The guidance urged businesses to choose a model according to their program objectives and expected transaction volumes.

The company distinguished direct gift card sales from incentives offered for a specific action. Other uses included accumulated reward points, survey participation, customer service recovery and lead-generation activity. Each required a decision about the value offered and the business outcome sought.

Bulk fulfilment involved supplying a larger batch for onward distribution. Personalized delivery connected an individual reward with a tailored message, while API delivery linked the reward to an existing platform or digital wallet. A marketplace let participants choose gift cards using their reward balance.

Runa described reporting, data management and customization tools as core administrative requirements. Depending on the program, integrations could connect reward activity with CRM, analytics, enterprise resource planning, content management or employee rewards software.

In its March 2023 description, Runa listed a network of 1,300 brands in 30 countries, with support for 18 currencies and 16 languages. Those figures represented the provider’s stated offer at that time. The guide treated catalog coverage and software integration as joint considerations when evaluating a fulfilment provider.
