Runa has added EUR-to-EUR transfers to Pay to Card, extending the service to payouts into euro-denominated cards or accounts. In its October 14, 2025 announcement, the company said the addition builds on its existing US-dollar and sterling payout routes.

The new EUR-to-EUR Pay to Card feature provides businesses operating in euros or sending payouts to recipients in euros with a faster and more flexible way to move money. Runa's Pay to Card feature allows businesses to send funds globally using just an email address, with the recipient entering their card or account details to receive the funds instantly.

Portal and API payout integration

Runa claims that its payout solution delivers more reach, control, and performance compared to traditional payout solutions. The company's platform offers flexible, global funding, allowing businesses to originate payouts seamlessly from the UK, US, or Europe, or use Runa FX. Additionally, Runa's API enables businesses to consolidate all domestic and international payouts under a single integration, supporting gift cards, prepaid cards, and direct-to-card payments.

To get started with Pay to Card, businesses need to complete Runa's streamlined approval process. Once approved, businesses can use the Runa Portal to choose Pay to Card in their preferred currency, enter the amount and currency, and send the payout instantly via email. Businesses can also automate payouts programmatically via the Runa API.

Recipients receive an email notification and supply their card or account details to claim the payment. Runa describes delivery as instant. The announcement also positions Pay to Card alongside its gift card and prepaid card options, allowing businesses to offer different forms of payout through the same integration.
