stc Bahrain launched Mastercard Click to Pay in the My stc BH app on May 16, 2026 for bill payments, add-ons and digital gift card purchases. The companies described stc as Bahrain’s first telecommunications provider to introduce the service.

Click to Pay reduces the need to enter card details manually and lets users select among enrolled credit or debit cards. The announcement describes encryption and tokenization as part of the checkout’s data-protection design.

Commenting on the launch, Karim Tabbouche, Chief Consumer Officer at stc Bahrain, stated that the launch highlights the company's dedication to offering customer-first solutions. Saud Swar, country manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and other Levant at Mastercard, said that Click to Pay brings consumers an easy way to pay online with the peace of mind that their payment details are protected from unauthorized transactions and identity theft.
