All Star Incentive Marketing has reviewed the Incentive Research Foundation’s Industry Outlook for 2023, highlighting respondents’ views on non-cash rewards during inflation. The company published its account of the study in August 2023.
The report surveyed people responsible for non-cash incentive programs in North America and Europe, asking about program spending and expectations.
According to figures cited by All Star, half of North American respondents believed inflation increased the value of non-cash incentives, while 23% felt it made them less valuable. The company relates that finding to pressure on household discretionary spending.
