Stadtallendorf’s gift-voucher programme has added clothing retailer Alia Mode as both a redemption point and a sales outlet. Stadtmarketing Stadtallendorf announced the addition on October 5, 2026. The shop at Marktstraße 3 accepts vouchers for purchases and sells them during its regular opening hours; the programme directory also lists it. [S01] [S03]

The purchase channel affects the merchant’s redemption fee

The two roles give Alia Mode access to gift buyers as well as voucher recipients. The programme’s published merchant terms distinguish vouchers bought at local outlets from vouchers bought online: the percentage processing charge is lower for the former. These are programme-wide terms, not a disclosed individual agreement with Alia Mode. [S04]

The online channel also carries EUR 0.19 per voucher, proportionally allocated across partial redemptions; that fixed component is not included in the percentage bars. The online rate includes online payment-processing costs. No fee discount specific to Alia Mode is established.

For locally purchased voucher cards, the published charge is 3% of the redeemed amount. Online vouchers carry 4.9% plus EUR 0.19, with the fixed amount shared proportionally when a voucher is spent in parts. The operator says the online price includes payment-method costs such as PayPal and cards. Registration, the business listing and ongoing participation are described as free, so those statements should not be confused with fee-free redemption. [S04]

The October announcement reports 95 participating shops, hospitality businesses and service providers. Recipients can divide a balance across purchases and businesses. Alia Mode joins Reisebüro Der Sinan Lacht, the Sparkasse advisory centre, the municipal administration and Tankport Süd as named physical sales outlets. [S01]

Online buying remains available alongside those outlets. The programme website offers EUR 10 to EUR 250 values, a personal message and image, and electronic delivery or printing. Physical cards provide another way to give the same local spending choice. The platform identifies zmyle as its city-voucher provider. [S02] [S05]

Stadtmarketing managing director Corinne Diho presents the new outlet as a way to improve access and retain purchasing power locally. That is the organiser’s rationale. Neither the announcement nor the public terms supply issued value, redemption volume or additional sales attributable to Alia Mode’s arrival. The published fees explain the acceptance economics, while the commercial outcome remains unmeasured. [S01] [S04]
