Blackhawk Network Japan outlined its role in distributing Disney Plus digital prepaid cards through Amazon.co.jp on July 6, 2026. Disney had already announced the monetary cards on June 5, replacing earlier digital gifts tied to monthly or annual subscriptions. The July release is a distribution update around an existing product, not evidence of a second first-launch date. [S01] [S03]

Six purchase amounts, with access determined by the subscription

The parties list six denominations from ¥2,000 to ¥30,000. Buyers select a monetary amount for themselves or another viewer; eligible new and existing customers redeem the emailed card number and PIN against a direct Disney Plus account. The credit pays for that streaming service, not Amazon shopping or general purchases. [S01] [S02] [S03]
