CoinGate Gift Cards has added country and availability filters to its marketplace, making regional redemption restrictions visible earlier in the purchase process.
The company's September product update [S01], dated September 28 on its English article, describes new filtering on category and clearance pages. Buyers can select a country, hide unavailable cards and sort the remaining options.
Regional filters around specific clearance offers
The announcement paired the interface changes with concrete recent clearance offers: a EUR 10 Apple card for Spain, a EUR 25 Glovo card for Italy and an AED 7 Noon card for the UAE. It quoted each offer and its comparison price in US dollars. Those named products show why a cheaper displayed price still has to be read alongside the card value and permitted region. [S01]
Clearance prices quoted in the September 28 update
The operator named three actual recent offers to illustrate why region and available stock matter. Both price series reproduce its US-dollar display values.

Historical advertised offers quoted by the marketplace, not current inventory, verified transaction prices or a forecast. Card face values and redemption countries differ. The comparison prices are the operator display references, not independently verified exchange rates; no currency conversion or relative brand-value ranking has been calculated.
Show data tableHide data table
| Category | Quoted clearance price | Quoted comparison price |
|---|---|---|
| Apple EUR 10 / Spain | 8.81 USD | 11.16 USD |
| Glovo EUR 25 / Italy | 23.66 USD | 29.95 USD |
| Noon AED 7 / UAE | 1.48 USD | 1.87 USD |
These are the offers reported in the September 28 article, not prices available today. The source warns that clearance stock is limited and prices may already have changed. The chart therefore preserves the quoted figures and the different card currencies, without converting face values or treating the products as interchangeable. [S01]
Product pages now bring together the selected card's redemption region, delivery method, accepted payment options and final price before checkout. Region selection and available denominations also sit within a simplified purchase panel.
These changes address a practical limitation of digital gift-card distribution: a recognisable brand does not necessarily mean its card can be redeemed in every country. Filtering helps buyers distinguish the regional products before purchasing.
The regional distinction also appears in issuer documentation. Apple says its gift cards cannot be redeemed outside the country or region of purchase. CoinGate Gift Cards' contract separately requires buyers to select the region and points them to issuer-specific conditions. Showing a country in the purchase panel does not remove those conditions. The release also introduces a redesigned homepage with country-specific popular products and a display-theme selector. Payment methods listed in the updated interface should not be treated as newly added integrations; the company had announced several of them earlier.
The site identifies the gift-card seller as UAB Rewards distributed, a separate legal entity from CoinGate's cryptocurrency-services provider. The update concerns the gift-card shopping service.
