Valuedesign’s Indian subsidiary announced on September 8, 2026 that it had partnered with Salonsurf Ventures to distribute LUZO digital gifts. The agreement adds the beauty and wellness booking platform to its channels for personal gifts, corporate rewards and loyalty programmes, including Adivaha Shop. [1] [2]

What the recipient’s gift buys and how it is used

LUZO’s own gift-card page supplies terms absent from the announcement. On October 19, its purchase form displayed preset amounts of ₹1,000, ₹2,500, ₹5,000 and ₹10,000, alongside a custom-amount field. These are direct issuer purchase options, not a verified list of denominations stocked by every distributor. The page states that a gift card is valid for one year from purchase. [3]

The data behind the story

Direct LUZO purchase presets, not an exclusive denomination schedule or confirmed Adivaha inventory. The page’s “Popular” label on ₹2,500 is marketing text, not a disclosed sales distribution. No purchase or redemption was performed.

The recipient receives a code to claim the gift, chooses a participating salon, spa or clinic through LUZO and pays through the platform after receiving the service. The gift purchase page describes coverage of more than 1,000 locations across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR. Valuedesign’s September release describes more than 2,000 beauty and wellness partners more broadly. These are differently scoped lower-bound descriptions, not exact counts from which a rise or fall can be calculated; a particular booking still depends on the participating venue. [2] [3]

The distinction between a gift balance and an offer matters. Valuedesign advertises app discounts of up to 40% at eligible locations, while LUZO’s April 1, 2026 terms make promotional benefits subject to their own eligibility rules and generally prohibit combining them unless expressly allowed. A preset gift amount therefore does not establish a guaranteed discount or permission to stack every offer. [2] [4]

The full platform terms also qualify the release’s broad reference to free cancellation. They allow sufficiently early cancellation without a fee but specify a ₹25 charge on the next platform payment when a confirmed appointment is not completed with payment through LUZO or was not cancelled in advance. Those are appointment conditions, not a gift-card purchase fee. The terms distinguish discount vouchers from the purchased gift product, so their discount-voucher cash and transfer restrictions are not automatically applied here to gift balances. [2] [4]

Valuedesign says the distribution arrangement delivers gifts by SMS and email and widens LUZO’s access to corporate purchasers. Its existing Indian portfolio exceeded 800 brands at the end of July 2026. Neither that portfolio figure nor LUZO’s partner-location descriptions measure gift adoption from this agreement. The announcement does not disclose programme sales, redemptions, commissions or the settlement arrangement between the companies. [2]
