Crocs has partnered with Rellevate to offer earned wage access to its retail and distribution-center employees in the United States. The October 25, 2021 announcement introduces Rellevate's Digital Account with Pay Any-Day as an employee financial-wellness benefit.
Pay Any-Day gives participating staff access to eligible wages before their scheduled payday. Rellevate said the platform is offered at no charge to the employer and that the account has no monthly subscription fee, credit check or minimum balance requirement.
The account also includes bill payment, money sending and a Visa debit card. Sutton Bank provides the banking services and issues the card under license from Visa U.S.A., according to the announcement's product disclosure.
Shannon Sisler, then Crocs' senior vice president and chief people officer, described the benefit as a convenient way for store and distribution employees to access earned pay. She also said the company expected it to support recruitment as the workforce grew.
Rellevate chief executive Stewart Stockdale positioned the partnership as part of Crocs' effort to support both new hires and existing employees. Rellevate's broader business includes digital accounts and gift and incentive cards; the Crocs rollout specifically concerns earned wage access and the accompanying account services.
